Deconstructing the Eve Myth

Women are always working against the negative stereotype that was set forth in the groundwork in many religions. In the story of Adam and Eve…Eve is the Tempest...using her sex and her wits to manipulate and coerce Adam to go against G-d’s warning to not take from this tree. And (although there are some sects of religions which do their best to rewrite these misinterpretations) the damage has been done. Stories like this one need to be broken down and recognized for its original manipulative purpose. The Adam & Eve/apple & snake interpretation was created to enforce a cast system between men and women…aimed to undermine any power a woman may have in society. It's time to deconstruct the Eve Myth.
